Excellent Indian food with excellent outdoor seating. I truly recommend.
Can only say something about the food delivered. In my opinion, the food was totally un "Indian" flavored and all dishes somehow floated in the same sauce. I absolutely missed the taste of the Indian spices, which you actually expect when you order Indian ;-)
What they got right: Very friendly staff and secure takeout containers What can be improved: The food isn’t bad but it’s heavily westernized. It unfortunately didn’t hit the spot for me.
Very good food . The delivery service always punctual and reliable
Below average food. High price for what we got. Terrible delivery service that didn't bother ringing the doorbell or calling the phone. No apology or compensation.
Very reasonable price and the food I cannot say that it is delicious because at that time it was very salty, God willing, I will repeat the visit based on the written comments
Mega yummy! Price / performance top.
What can I say, one of the best Indian places we have eaten in so far. From the starter plate for 2 to the main course for 2 people really very good. The portions are just awesome for the price. Even the ambience and the staff deserved 5 stars. If we should come back to Garmisch then the visit here is certain.
It's an amazing restaurant with high quality food and great service. Must try out place when you are in Garmisch
STAY AWAY! I had a mixed vegetarian Thali and a mango curry. Both dishes were terrible, but the latter also left me with such a horrible aftertaste that could not be flushed down my throat for a whole day! Indian food is my favorite choice wherever I travel, and when I cook at home, but this food was just not it. Seriously, this is a place to avoid. There are a few other more tolerable restaurants in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Tasty but a little too stretched sauce for our taste, could have been thicker
Papadam good, but the 3 sauces with it looked like from the tube. The Tali with 6 vegetarian. Dishes, bread and rice were excellent and a great value for money with naan and rice included. Gladly again.
Terrific ... in short, one of the best Indian restaurants I have been able to visit so far.
Lovely ambience with yummy food and awesome service. I ordered Thali and was happy to see their presentation. Overall very nice experience.?
The food was good. The recommendation from the service exactly met our taste. The staff was very friendly.
Very good grill mix and nice presentation. Male waiter very friendly but old lady (maybe owner) very rude. She was very friendly only with German customer. Every 5 mints she came to look them and asking Alles ist Gut. Maybe they were food inspectors? I felt like i am in third world where people are still treated according to their skin color.
Lunch menu was extensive. The food was very tasty and typically Indian flavored. The staff friendly. And at the end there was either a schnapps or a mango dessert on the house. Always happy
The food was delicious, for a fair price. Know other Indians who charge a lot more for two people and 7 bowls. What bothered me a lot were the not clean toilets, especially the one employee who also left water next to me but didn't wash his hands afterwards.
The food was amazing. We got a takeaway. The staff was friendly as well.
It's a shame about all the money! For such small portions and not particularly tasty dishes (we already knew these dishes from other Indian restaurants where it was really tasty) such high prices ?! I had 7 pieces of meat in my dish for € 14. Sitting inside is very tight and poorly ventilated. Maybe not so good in Corona times ?
Very tasty food. There is something for everyone in terms of taste. Portions are really big for the price and the price is fair. You will definitely get full. Delivery was also below the time (approx. 30 minutes. It depends on the number of customers). The only thing is that the supplier was a bit strange, of his kind. Otherwise great store! You can eat well here!
Wide variety of dishes Attentive waiters Tastes good There is wifi Very short waiting times
Super delicious food, friendly service. Fair price. Definitely worth a visit.
Really tasty!!
Authentic food, good packaging for take away
Tasty food and big portions
Bad service n below average good .Secondly Germans would be definitely be preferred over you with much better service than you
Great food Lots of options on the menu and large portions. Naan was a bit thick but other than that no complaints.
So goood food!
Food was tasty. Portions large. Good value for money. Nice seating area out back.
Been there several times and it's always good. Price / performance is right, as well as the ambience. Always happy
The setting outside makes for a pretty cool dining spot.
Delicious food with friendly staff. Nice area to sit outside
Very good Indian food. I went to this restaurant 2 times during my 5 days stay in Garmisch and was happy both the times. Food quality and quantity both are very good. Staff is very polite. I highly recommend to try their vegetable thali, it was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place.
Good indian food.try Samosa plate.
If you are looking for good food, go somewhere else.
Efficient, quick and tasteful .... AMAZING. It's different in our European flavors. I recommend everyone at least try. An unforgettable experience, an explosion of flavors and colors. I heartily recommend. Although the restaurant is a bit hidden from the main street, it's really worth it.
The food was delicious. The service was a bit sluggish but all in all highly recommended.
Disappointing experience. Curries we ordered were no where close to authentic Indian curry. Dal tadka was nothing else but boiled lentils without any flavor in it. Service was another disaster. We do not recommend to go this restaurant if they are looking for authentic Indian food.
We wish we could give less than this but unfortunately system wont allow. To start with service, i would say it looks like they definitely dont prefer indians in their restaurent. It takes a hell lot of time for the order to be delivered. Lets say its fine it may take time to prepare the stuff. Dishes doesnt taste like they are freshly made. Dal is just boiled lentils and nothing else. When we got naan, they tasted like the ones which we get in supermarket. If we have to eat the supermarket naan then we dont need to search for an indian restaurent. I know since non-indians might not be familier with indian dishes, they might feel that these dishes which you get here are authentic and fresh. I would suggest to check the reviews on other sites as well and then take risk.
Very good Indian food. Definitely recommandation.
Nice place not more....
Spicy food. We ordered room service. Food was tasty and was coowd with good indian spices. Chicken and prawn masala was more tastier than chole. Food quality is sufficient for 2.
We ordered daal makhani for take away and it was pretty bad. It was not remotely close to daal makhani. Looked a lot like chana daal. I thought may be they swapped our order with someone else. I still wouldn't have mind if chana daal or whatever it was would have been tasty. There was no tadka in daal and it was so flat. Honestly hospital food would taste better than this one.
Not the best Indian food I have had. The quality of Chicken was average, the sauce was good. Service: The waiter on payment did not provide me a receipt/bill or ask me how I would like to pay cash vs card. The price seemed a little higher than expected (no bill provided) but not significant so paid cash and left
If you like never leaving your comfort zone, this place is for you! Seriously. It doesnt taste BAD per say, some of it tastes good...but it doesnt taste Indian. It is, quite clearly, Indian food built around a Bavarian palette. The daal soup appears to be a cream based soup with zero spice. The chaat is honestly a cold chicken salad with a mayo based dressing. The mint chutney is sweet and creamy, without spice. Duck, which I love, is not ordinarily on an Indian menu, but they make it well here. Stick to the grilled foods and biryani and you're probly fine. Just dont expect it to be super authentic.
Some if the best Indian food I've had.
We ordered chilli chicken, Bindi masala and rice. Chilli chicken was not good (instead of dry it was like chicken manchurian) and chicken did not taste fresh. Bindi masala and rice were good though. Ambiance and service was good.
The food was normal but the Price was too high for such food unfortnightly i want there, and the restaurant from inside was too cold to sit in and eat in it.
Excellent food with amazingly efficient and smiling staff, what a great delight to taste authentic Indian flavor, will definitely visit again once in the area.
